The last time I felt this way about monster truck racing was when I played bigfoot on the NES, but this game has brought back the great feeling of fun. With its great graphics and Twisted Metal style of game play you too will soon feel the same way.

From the shiny trucks to the great arenas this game shines, the only real issue I have with it is the fact that when you go through the mud the trucks remain clean. This is the PS2 I realize but they did it on the Dreamcast and the Nintendo 64 why not on the PS2. HUH? The fact that the world is so pretty and destructible is kinda amazing. No blowing holes in the walls like in Red Faction but you can destroy almost anything in the arena you want including the other trucks.

With the inclusion of weapons like the RailGun and the rocket launcher this is a great game to play with all you monster tuck loving friends and there are tons of trucks to unlock too. My personal favorite truck is the Paddy Wagon, a tricked out 1930's style police truck in monster truck form. With all this and tons more you should definitely buy if you are a TM fan. I'm on my third season and I'm having a blast. You can earn cash to upgrade your truck and you truck will take damage that you must repair or you will see a decrease in the performance of your truck.

All in all this is a great game in every since of the word. Buy it now.
